"VERMI-COMPOSTING AT HOME" with Sue Magness, Education Specialist from Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District and S. Ann Marie Quinn, Program Director/Educator Michaela Farm. Vermicomposting is a system for turning food waste into a soil amendment with the help of worms. This workshop is designed for the whole family to work and learn together.
Fee: $60.00 per family. Participants receive Worms Eat My Garbage, handouts, one pound of red wigglers (Eisenia-fetida), a cultivator, worm bin and tray. Pre-registration required.
