Primary Route, (beginning from the north)

Beginning at the stone monument by the bridge on Main Street (SR 38),
Hagerstown, IN

 Wayne County

East on SR 38 to SR 1

Right (south) on SR 1 to Delaware St., Cambridge City

Right (west) to Green St.

Left (south) to US 40 (Historic National Road All American Road)

Left (east) to Center Street

Center St. becomes Boyd Road

Right (south) to SR 1

Right (south) through Milton

 Fayette County

SR 1 (south) to Connersville

Straight (south) on Western Avenue

Through Connersville to SR 121

South on SR 121 through Alpine

 

Franklin County / Dearborn County, Indiana

SR 121 South through Laurel to US 52

Left (east) on US 52 through:

  • Metamora

  • Brookville

  • Cedar Grove

  • New Trenton

 

Becomes “Old US 52” at I-74 interchange

“Old US 52” to Harrison/West Harrison

Continue on State Street (south) through Harrison/West Harrison

 

  Dearborn County, Indiana / Hamilton County, Ohio

Veer left at Lawrenceburg Road (south) to US 50 at Elizabethtown

Right (west) US 50 (Ohio River Scenic Byway)

Right (west) to Oberting Road (Ohio River Scenic Byway)

Bear Right (west) to SR 1

Left (south) to US 50 (Indiana Historic Pathways)

Right (west) to Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg

Left (south) to Ohio River

Southern Terminus of route

 Scout Lake: Wayne County, Hagerstown

From SR 38, South on Washington Street (1 mile)

Left (east) at Scout Lake Road to Camp Wapi-Kamigi

Return north on Washington to Bear Creek Road

Left (west) to Brick Church Road

Left (south) to Delaware St.  in Cambridge City (5 miles)

Left (east) to  Green St.  (.3 miles)

Right (south) to US 40–return to primary route

 Laurel Feeder Dam: Laurel, Franklin County

SR 121 South through Laurel Pearl Street

Left (east) to Dam Road (.5 miles)

Right (south) to Feeder Dam (1.5 miles)

Reverse directions to return to primary route

 Covered Bridge Aqueduct: Metamora, Franklin County

East on US 52 to Pennington Road

Veer right (east) becomes Main Street, Metamora

Continue .3 miles to aqueduct

Return on Main Street to Columbia Street

Right (north) across canal bridge to US 52- return to primary route
